Doors are the portals to your home. At Beason, we always consider both the beauty and functions of your interior and exterior doors. We walk you through all the many choices and help you with your selections. There’s a lot to think about. Know that we only work with the best — Jeld Wen and a variety of other superb manufacturers — so whatever you choose, you can’t go wrong.
You are probably most familiar with exterior doors, since their aesthetics are obviously important to the look of your home. Today, most quality exterior doors are fiberglass and steel door systems. Fiberglass has a woodgrain look, but it will not warp, dent or rust. Hardwood doors and door elements are also popular, and many, if not most, have glass areas, including double (French) doors. We fit your exterior doors tightly, to keep out rain, insects and small critters, and keep in your warm or cool temperatures.
Interior doors have functions you may not have considered. Of course, they offer privacy, safety and protection. But they also dampen noise and allow ventilation so various rooms may be heated or cooled more effectively and efficiently. Most interior doors are made of hardwoods or engineered woods. They are made flat or with panels, bi-folds, glass panels, louvers, raised moldings, carvings and other decorative accents. Eco-friendly, fire-rated, molded, pre-finished composite doors are even more solid, further reducing noise and eliminating any maintenance.
As always, if you have trouble selecting the style and material of your doors, we will serve as your partner, helping you through the myriad of choices. We do our best to help make building a custom home easier and more fun — a new, exciting, creative adventure.
