The Lake Norman climate is temperate, but we do experience all four seasons. In winter, we get the occasional ice storm; in the summer, 90 degree temperatures are not uncommon; and we are not a dry desert — we have luscious green hills and forests because we get enough rain. We at Beason know that our exteriors always need to be tougher than the weather, yet elegant and beautiful, so we use only the finest materials for your home.

Depending on your taste and the style of the home, you might choose to use Real Stone, made by some of the nation’s leading stone manufacturers. It’s exquisite, durable, and highest quality. Or, you might choose aesthetically exquisite stucco or brick veneers. Or super-tough fiber cement siding from James Hardee.

We use MiraTec treated exterior composite wood for the exterior trim on many of our homes. It gives you both the beauty of authentic woodgrain and the long-lasting features of an engineered product. Unlike real wood, it will not delaminate, is resistant to moisture (for water absorption and swelling), rot and termites. It is also resistant to hail, fungal growth, and will not buckle. It is also “green” and is Greenguard Gold certified. Simply, it is a superior product.

Beason also uses real cedar shake and columns, and we custom-build wooden window shutters. Whatever look you choose, you can feel confident that Beason is using the world’s finest materials.
